THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM...THE FOOD IS SO FLAVORFUL AND SERVED WITH PURE LOVE BECAUSE EVERYTHING WE'VE HAD THUS FAR IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. MY FAVORITE IS THE SWEET AND SOUR BRANZINO FISH AND THREE PEPPER BASIL BEEF DISHES. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PLACE. WE LOVE IT AND CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN ❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
Decent meal. The bread with curry dip is very good. The whole branzino is good but ….they left a lot of bones. I don’t like eating food and picking bones out-of it wasn’t for this, I’d give then 5 stars.
Service is blah, but that’s typical in these type of Asian restaurants.
You'll really enjoy your meal the atmosphere is very laid-back ,and lovely the services on spot and their price is very reasonable..! this food is made with love so fresh my friend and I plan to go once a month for girls luncheon .next I'm going to try their popular small dishes I heard it's an awesome experience for the family night out I'm looking forward to it…!
While it may not have the greatest atmosphere or particularly special service, Peter Chang always serves up quality dishes at a favorable price point; the restaurant is clean, and, while a bit plain, still lends to a nice environment to eat at.
The fried eggplant were crispy and delicious; the flavor of eggplant itself was very subtle, so even those who aren't fans of eggplant can like the dish; 5/5.
The scallion pancakes were fantastic - and definitely not to be confused with Korean pajeon. They were massive, fluffy, thin and crispy breads, delicious enough to be devoured on their own, but especially so with the curry sauce served alongside it; 5/5.
The bamboo flounder had soft, melty flesh with a nice crispy exterior; 5/5.
We ordered a beef, shrimp, and shrimp/beef/chicken fried rice, which were all of equal quality - the only gripe was that they were all a little too salty; 4/5.
The crazy beef ghost chili was flavorful, but pretty terrifyingly spicy - definitely not for those with low tolerance to heat. Even for me, it was a bit much, but that should be expected considering the name; 3/5.
The vegetable spring rolls were plain; nothing outstanding, nothing terrible. 3/5.
The golden mountain chicken had a good balance of sweet and sour, but it's too hard to eat a lot of it - just a personal preference thing; 3/5.
Overall, a great place to come out for lunch, especially for delicious Sichuan cuisine at fair price points and relatively fast service.

Very fresh and delicious szechuan-style cuisine. We started off with a cold appetizer of beef tendons that were sliced thin and marinated with spicy chili sauce, garlic, ginger, and cilantro. I loved all the entrees we ordered: dry fried eggplant, twice-cooked pork, and the spicy hot pot flounder. The spices and flavors definitely activate different receptors in your taste buds as opposed to "Americanized Chinese food."
We have eaten in the restaurant pre-COVID but more recently have been picking up to-go food. I was surprised the first time we ordered to go there wasn't any rice provided. I learned only after we had to order and pay for it separately. We spend $90 on Chinese take out tonight and they didn't include any sauces. For $90 I would hope they'd include the sauces...
This place is amazing. It has an ugly outward appearance and ugly chairs but their food... makes up for their not so aesthetically pleasing location and furniture. All their food is sooo good!!! That deep fried bread is magical. That spicy beef appetizer is also out of this world. Fried Eggplant is unbelievable, the spices are so yummy. The Grandma's noodles are sooo tasty too!! Great job guys we love you!!
As of today May 7th the renovated their place!! And their food is amazing!!
Very disappointing visit after hearing a lot about the restaurant and reading the good reviews. Service overall was good and attentive, helps that we went early so the restaurant was maybe a quarter full around 6pm on a weekend.
Red flags as soon as we sat down: 1) no pots of tea that are standard at pretty much every Chinese restaurant I've been to (including dim sum). The only option was cups of tea at $3.50/cup. 2) steamed rice is not included with any meal and is $1.50 per small bowl. 3) Small menu.
None of the food came out hot, with the exception of the eggplant. We ordered soup and the fried eggplant as appetizers. The soup was warm not hot and the eggplant was weird, think eggplant fries. Also ordered salt and pepper shrimp and chicken lo mein. The shrimp was breaded in what appeared to be some of orange colored stuff and wasn't good, disappointing for a $24 entree. The lo mein was very plain, not much flavor to it.
Without alcohol we paid $78 for two without tip. Incredibly disappointed, would not return. There are far better options in the area, like Hong Kong Palace. Don't waste your time and money like we did.
